7-Eleven Restaurant Employee – Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, courteous service.
- Prepare and serve food items according to 7-Eleven food safety and quality standards (hot foods, roller grill items, bakery, beverages).
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, warmers, grills, and beverage machines.
- Maintain clean and organized food prep areas, dining areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Stock food ingredients, supplies, and packaging; rotate product using FIFO guidelines.
- Monitor food temperatures, freshness, and expiration dates; discard unsafe or expired items.
- Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for food and beverage transactions.
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments following company cash-handling procedures.
- Respond to customer questions, special requests, and concerns professionally.
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned.
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries.
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and local health regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
This role requires standing for extended periods, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining a strong focus on cleanliness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
